We are one of the few EN ISO 9001:2008 certified Czech university laboratories offering analyses of metallic and other materials, development of protective coatings and identification of causes of corrosion and the process thereof. Having at our disposal the state-of-the-art instrumentation and laboratory equipment of the Faculty of Chemistry of BUT, we help both industrial companies and research institution to find the answers to their questions.

Cooperation with Industry

We are the only Czech university laboratory dealing with metals and corrosion that was awarded the EN ISO 9001:2008 quality management certificate. Thus we can accommodate the needs of not only the car industry – each and every of our partners is guaranteed careful records of the entire process and standardized research reports.

Our services to industrial companies are based on three types of activities.

  • Development of the methodology for the assessment of hot sprays.
  • Verify the possibility of increasing the quality of hot sprays.
  • Research of the cleaning process effects and extreme alkaline cleaning of the various materials surface (metals, plastics, foams).
